A series of objects, tea cups with saucers and shot glasses, that are inspired by the geometry of a honeycomb. The geometric forms, though made up of hard edges and angles, are inherently organic and can be arranged in a multitude of different set ups. They can be arranged together to store neatly in a cabinet, nested together to provide stability when transporting on a serving tray, or just displayed in an interesting or poetic pattern. In addition to the ability to tessellate, the tea cups, saucers, and shot glasses tightly stack to save even more space. This is quite a feat for a cup with a handle. Also for the tea cups, the cup and the handle exist as one integrated form, and are slip cast using only one mold. This allows for an extremely efficient and streamlined production process.
